Before running Athletic Apex, Randall Hunt was a former college golf player. A PGA member, Randall Hunt integrated Golfnetics, one of three Bionetics programs, into the health club’s platform.

Golfnetics has become a popular remedy for avid golf players, even helping three-time NCAA champion Sierra Brooks improve her game. Golfnetics programming has been adopted by both professionals, amateurs, collegiate, and junior golf players and works by targeting physical limitations in the body that encourage dysfunction and prevent players from playing their best game. Moreover, the program trains the player to avoid practices that increase the wear and tear on joints, thereby reducing injury.

Sierra Brooks is one of the most widely known players in golf circles for not only her championships but for setting a Division 1 record for shooting 62 on her final round winning by nine shots. Since incorporating the program into her training routine, Ms. Brooks has seen improvements in a few areas such as picking up ten to 15 yards off of the tee.

Much of this has to do with understanding how the swing should work in conjunction with the body. The program measured her mobility and looked at how it translated into her swing. Furthermore, she stated that the program has made her more mindful of how training in the gym translates to success on the golf course.
